When checking mail - browser (Firefox or Chrome) hangs. the rotating icon stops and an error message is visible. Earthlink tech support says empty cache <??????> Does this on two internet services and both our computers. Seems to be no solution. Started about 1 year ago. annoying enough to switch email.
